Long Time No Post

I'm still playing the weight loss game. I weighed myself yesterday: 187 lbs. That's up almost 3 pounds from the last weigh-in. Not good. In all fairness, I have been eating a little more than usual. My appetite has been higher, which is usually what happens to me when seasons change.

I wonder if others are adversely affected by changing seasons. It doesn't matter what the season is, when it changes, particularly when the change is abrupt, it disrupts me. My sleeping, eating, and moods are disrupted. I actually find Fall depressing. Some people think its beautiful, I find it to be a harbinger of what is to come: brutally cold winter. The colors are pretty, but I can do without the long shadows, short days, and cooling temperatures.

I guess it takes time to get used to the new seasons. Tuesday of last week it was a high of 80 degrees with high humidity. Then all of a sudden the temperature dropped like a rock to highs of only 60 degrees or in the high 50s. That's a 20 degree drop in high temperatures in only a couple of days.

I'm still exercising regularly. In fact, I'm off today and in half-an-hour I'm going for a one-hour bike ride followed by a one-hour walk. I went for three one-hour walks already this week and a monster two-hour bike ride a couple of days ago. I didn't plan on a two-hour bike ride. But I saw this pretty red-headed woman with a generous-sized round bottom jiggling like crazy as she walked around the lake so I decided to go around again so I could get another look at her.

Yes, I am a heterosexual male and I like looking at women. I ended up exercising for an hour longer than I planned just because I saw a woman with a nice butt. Is that pathetic? Or something good? After the ride, my legs were sore as hell. Unfortunately, I did not see that woman again. Oh well, I made myself sore and probably burned another 500 calories. You win some, you lose some.
