For over three months now, I've been stuck in a weight-loss rut. I've hit my plateau. I hover anywhere from 181 to 183 lbs and no matter how much I exercise, I cannot seem to lose more weight.
If I can't lose weight exercising five hours per week, then I guess I'll have to enter the starvation phase of dieting. That isn't something that I wanted to do. My original goal was to lose weight without making myself miserable. But when you hit a plateau, you've got to find a way to start making progress again.
I'm hoping that if I start limiting my caloric intake to 1200 calories a day that I will be able to break through the plateau and start losing weight again, allowing me to eat return to normal eating habits.
Only time will tell.

I have started using this website. it is free! and I love it!
www.myfitnesspal.com
It asks you a few questions to decide how many calories you need to be eating each day, it allows you to input your food (and if you put peanut butter in then it will list all the peanut butters produces and already has the nutrition info in it. It is so easy. Plus you get more calories for the daily exercise you put in.
